Topic: Girls and their toys! Posted: 07 October 2008 at 10:53am |
Kinda following on from the boys and their toys topic......
If you had $3000 to spend on toys for yourself what would you get?
My wish list would be:
1. KitchenAid Deluxe Stand Mixer - $1200.00
2. Jamie Oliver Cookware Set - $850.00
3. DeLonghi Espresso Machine - $1000.00
Ooops, $50 over!

I can't really think of anything I want for just me right now (I want a new fridge and lawn mower but I suppose that doesn't count). I guess I'd just have a shopping spree and quite likely buy stuff for DH and Michaela too.

Yes Jo, a new fridge and a lawnmower certainly counts, and I reckon you'd be able to get both for $3k!

About $1.5k actually (was looking today) but then again there's a fridge in Farmers that I for $4.5k.
I've changed my mind anyway. I think instead of a shopping spree (since we all had one recently) I'd pay for a family holiday somewhere warm and tropical.

-I would love a really really good digital camera.
- A video camera
- A decent sewing Machine and overlocker.
- A really nice baby bag
- My own laptop and photoshop (so I can give my mum her one back )
I think I have well and truely spent over my $3000 Maybe just the first two.

a new bookcase and a million books.
dining room table again.....and a spa treatment
Acatully what I'd love to do with more is go on a shopping trip with my mum to adelaide. she's always wanted to go and never has been able to (she says she can't afford it - i say if she stopped buying stuff for the kids she could!)

Ooh I was thinking more naughty things when I saw the title
My top choice would be an Apple iMac but Santa brought one last year so I'll go with a housekeeper!

Ooh for 3K I'd take Dh & me away for a holiday - somewhere tropical!
Or... I'd go to a day spa, and on a shopping spree to get new clothes & cosmetics.
A new microwave would be good too, though our one is in working order, it is time to update it, well & truly!
