Topic: What colour do *u* think youre having? Posted: 07 October 2008 at 3:47pm |
Hi
Thought it might be fun to speculate now at what 'colour' we think we might be having....then go back once we've given birth to see how accurate we were! lol
I'll start the ball rolling.....
I think I have a blue bean. So much trouble already, it has to be a boy haha

I thought I was having a blue one (thought so right from the beginning!) and I was right.
I think the next one's gonna be a blue one too. Not that I'm pregnant or want to be any time soon, I just have a feeling that in a few years time I'm gonna have another boy
ETA: Emmecat are you gonna find out at the scan or wait til bubs is born? Eee so exciting!

I was soooooooooo convinced i was having a little girlie, no idea why, but totally convinced, was a bit of a suprise when they said it was a boy. The funny bit was when we told family and friends they all said yeah we thought you'd have a boy.
Just need the little man to come out now.

Arohanui- lol boys aye haha No I don't think we'll find out the sex...we'd both love a girl cos we have 2 boys already (1x stepson and 1x foster son) and 'only' 1 girl (stepdaughter)....so another girl would balance things out but we don't really mind TBH Healthy and happy is our priority!
(And yes it is gonna be like the Waltons at our house lol)

I was so sure I was having a blue one, just a gut feeling and all my dreams were of baby boys. But now I'm all confused because my last few baby dreams have all been girls, and I caught myself saying "she" about the baby the other day lol! So who knows?! I just tried asking my gut feeling if it feels like a girl or a boy at the moment, and first it came up with boy, then quickly said "no, girl!" argh now I want to find out (not going to though ) will let you know in 5 months or so which way it goes hehe

Hmmm - I REALLY don't know!
DH is adamant that he wants a girl, but Ihonestly 100% don't care either way.
I have a teeny tiny incling towards feeling like it's a boy, but who really knows aye?
It'll just be a surprise come next May!

Hi Emmecat. I know you said you think you're having a boy because of the trouble already, but my girl gave me heaps of trouble too When I was pregnant with Ems I had a feeling almost immediately that she was a girl, and my MW reckoned a girl too because of the trouble she was causing.
Fingers crossed you get your little girl.

Hi I already know what im having but I'll put my 10cents worth in anyway, LOL...
I was soooo sure this would be another girl so right up to my 20wk scan I made myself believe I was having a girl ( I have 6 girls alredy & I didnt want to set myself up for disappointment) I saw the little extra bits in the pic and the sonographer was 100% sure I was cooking a boy & I kind of believed it coz it looked nothing like girly bits coz I could clearly see the scrotum and penis.
With my last pregnancy I was told I was having a boy at my 20wk scan & I went for another scan at 24wks and a little fanny was revealed and sure enough out popped a girl. With this current pregnancy I went for another scan @ 24 weeks and his extra bits were still there and as clear as day. So finally after 6 girls I finally have a little falla on his way and I probably still wont really believe it until I see the goods in real life. LOL...

Hi all, i had really wanted a girl, but had a deep down feeling that baby was a boy.
So when i found out i was having a boy i wasnt as surprised as i thought i would have been.
I also had that whole is it a boy or girl according to those old wivestales, i had a fast heartbeat at 15weeks so everyone thought girl, then the heartbeat had slowed down abit by 17weeks so everyone thought it was a boy.
A few people that are close to me also thought it was a boy right from the start.
So now i just hope i have my little princess next and she can have a awesome big brother to watch out for her.

In the earlt stages of pregnancy I thought bubs was a boy cause verytime I imagined bubs I always thought of a boy, then people started saying they thought we were having a girl, but 2 scans so far have said boy.

I initially thought it was a boy, then thought it might be a girl, and then went back to solidly thinking it was a boy - my mother, brother and sister in law were all convinced it was a boy as well - but it's a little girl, showed pretty clearly on the last scan

Oh fun!
I think I'm having a big boy. With no hair. And a mighty set of lungs...
Is someone clever enough to make a due date type list with the guesses??

im really bad at guessing this for myself! lol
With my first boy we all thought girl just for the 'feeling' and i cried when the scan showed boy! (what a dork ay!).
Then second time around EVERYONE! was convinced it was a girl! all the wives tales and even my MW but nop out poped another boy
this time i reckon its another boy just because my DH seems to like to make boys! lol but i would LOOOOVVVEEE a girl now
then again it would be so neat to have 3 boys!

When I was pregnant with DD my sister was convinced I was having a girl. I tried to find out at the 20 week scan, but she had her legs crossed so couldn't see. My sister even drew a picture of 'my future niece'. DD now has it in her memory book.

I keep changing my mind, at first I was quite sure it was a boy, but lately I have been catching myself calling bubs her or she. Think I might go do the ring test now and see what that comes up with.....

I knew caden was a boy from day one! Just did not feel as though I was carrying a girl, and I agree with Liz, I think Il have another boy aswell. I love a little girl though, but no matter the sex of our next baby we will love it so so much!
