Hey Ladies,

Hope you all had a great Easter

I spent most of the weekend with fat ankles. Sooo annoying. Today is the third day that they have been swollen. Has anyone else had this problem. They are not very painful just get huge especially at night or after walking a good distance. It hurts to push but not much.

The swelling wont dissappear completely and just gets worse at night or after walking. Do you think this is normal???

Towards the end of my pregnancy I had huge swollen ankles and feet, my midwife seemed to think it was okay as my bp and bloods were all fine, but next time you see your midwife talk to her and tell her about it.

You do increase fluid but ring your midwife and check it out to be safe, that can be a sign of toxemia or something I think. My ankles were worse after the birth because of all the fluid they pump into you
