Topic: omg - screaming baby Posted: 05 December 2008 at 10:17pm |
We put Cian down a couple of hours ago and he just then started screaming - like that really bad one that starts out silent - but was still asleep the whole time!
nightmare, wind, something else?? it totally freaked me out!

Sounds like it could be wind, poor baby, DD daughter did this a few times! I dont think they really dream much at that age? If he keeps doing it you could always getting him checked out by a doc to be sure.
(cute pic in your sig, he's gorgeous)

Caden does this aswell and it freaks me out! The first time he did it DF and I jumped up to see what was wrong only to find him asleep just slightley snuffling...
He does it every now and then still, I usually just stroke his face or pop his dummy in to comfort him and he will settle again.
I think its nightmares....if it was wind they would wake up.

yeah i thought he would've woken up if it was wind - I panicked and picked him up to comfort him so he settled quite quickly but then did it again while he was in my arms... probably harder for me than him!

lol, i'm sure the night cry is bad dreams, my daughter does this too, i've sat by the cot and watched her go from sleeping peacefully to pulling sad faces to crying. I've run into her room when I've heard her crying from the other end of the house and picked her up trying to comfort her, only to have her wake up extremely confused and start crying for real!! now i just look at her and if her eyes are i closed I know she'll stop in a minute and is still asleep.
