Topic: When you sneeze or eat cheese do you.... Posted: 31 January 2009 at 4:29pm |
Get goosebumps?
Because I do. I get lots of goosebumps all over when I sneeze, the more sneezes, the bigger the goosebumps.
I get goosebumps on my face when I have a big bite of cheese too.
Am I alone in this?
Am I a freak?
A bumpy freak?
PS, my mum hates peach fur and my nana hated the texture of crunchy apples and had to leave the room if someone was eating one.

I feel sick when I look at holes.
The worst kind is the holes in the tops of some oranges, where you can see some growth inside.
Also honeycombs make me sick. Ant holes in the ground also creep me out
I get goosebumps when I sneeze too

Hmmm, im not sure?
The worst thing I ever faced was an email of a woman who wore a bra without washing it, and she got some sort of holes in her skin with bugs coming out.

This is the strangest thread I have ever read lol.
Then again, I have to check the washing machine and dryer three-four times before I start as somehow I always convince myself a cat has crawled in while I wasn't looking. I can't take my eyes off the washing machine while i'm putting clothes in it. This only started after I pg.
And i'm paranoid about house fires so I check all the plugs are off at the wall (Inc Tv) about 9-10 times before I go to bed. Don't get me started on DH buying those glad plug in things. They give me nightmares!!!

Lol agreed on the strange thread!
I get goosebumps when I sneeze too. But not when I eat cheese - that's a bit weird lol.
Don't have to check the washing machine but when we had a hot water cupboard I had to check that about 5 times before we left the house if we were going away to make sure there were no cats in there. And when we go away I can't be the last to leave the house - or if I am I need dh to witness me locking and checking the front door - if he doesn't we get down the road and have to go back to check it. Oh and he has to go round and check all the other doors and windows before we leave And still we'll drive away from the house and I'll be saying "did you check the back door? and the sliding door? and was everything off? the oven wasn't on was it? what about the tap?" (why the hell would we leave the tap on? )

The bright sun makes me sneeze and yup I get goose bumps then. If sneeze any other time I dont recall getting the bumps....
My mum freaks out by the feel of wood. She has to wrap the paper from an icecream around the stick cos she cant touch it or wooden spoons! We were always threatened with the wooden spoon when we were kids, until my sister realised my mum always picked it up using a tea towel. That was the end of that.. she would just grap the other spoon and chase my mum around the house with it .LOL.

Hehe, I love these strange things!
I remembered I also can't stand iceblock sticks touching my mouth at all! I know I used to lick them clean when I was a kid but I have no idea why I'm scared of them now, like they will give me a splinter.
I don't much like the necterine stones with a big crack either, incase there is a big spider nesting in it.
LOL at checking the washing machine for cats! Do cats sometimes get into places like that? I've never had a cat.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets sneeze induced bumps. Although I seem to be along on the cheese bumps. Hehe, I don't get pee bumps though.
Ooh, sometimes when I sneeze when I am breastfeeding DD gets the most confused look because my nips go hard with goosebumpiness (yes, goosebumpiness is SO a word)

Oh! A pic in my usual thread of a baby chewing/gumming on a peice of cloth made me remember my fear of chewing material. YUCK. I know where this is stemmed from though as I had a friend with the same fear and we analized it for years before realising that both of us, when we were little and had wiggly teeth our parents gave us cloth nappies ot tea towels to wiggle them with. Garrrrgggghhhh and big fat SHUDDER!
