When i am making solids (like kumara puree), do i add the formula before freezing or after i defrost the cubes ready for feeding?

I would do it after you defrost them as they hold quite abit of water so may end up too runny

Yeah I often found that after defrosting the kumara would break down considerably and I wouldn't need to add much if anything at all

I very rarely add formula to his food, maybe just some baby rice to thicken it if needed.
