Topic: To Those Who Believe in Prayer - Urgent! Posted: 20 May 2006 at 11:18am |
For those who believe in prayer I'm putting a desparate prayer request out...it's in relation to people who are friends of friends. Thier baby boy is not in good shape at all and the family needs your prayers in the worst possible way.
While you may not know them personally, it doesn't change how powerful prayer is, so please take a moment to lift them up to God.
All details are below.
Thanks All!
************************************************
Hello again everyone,
I hope you all got my last email that I sent up concerning our friends Pete and Maryanne and their little 4 month old baby Harrison.
We have some really bad news unfortunetly and are calling everyone to prayer on behalf of the family .
Today they got the biopsy results and found out that the tumour was malignant cancer of the worst possible kind. It would take a year of chemotherapy to have the potential to kill it, but the chemo itself would kill Harry.
They have come to a place of pretty much no options. The breathing tube that is helping Harry is going to be removed on sunday. If he breathes on his own then he's got a bit longer with us, otherwise he will quietly slip away at that time.
Please pray. We've still got a couple of days and maybe more to see a huge miracle. Please pray for Pete and Maryanne and for Lucas, for their families Jan and Lindsay , Liz and Dave , Teresa , Richard and Tracey and all the brothers and sisters and kids involved.
And pray especially for Harry. PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY!!!!!!!!!!!! At times like these this is all we've got as Christians, and it DOES have power.
Thank you all so much. We'll be praying everyone checks their emails today or tomorrow!!!
Lots of love and blessings to you all,

It's more a friend of a friend, we don't know the family directly invovled personally (apart from having met them at our friends wedding). The guys are in a kids band together.
Even though I don't know them personally I'm still devestated for them. We thought little Harry was getting better until we got this email.
I will definetly keep you posted!

me too. when you're a parent yourself it doesn't matter if you know them personally or not does it? you can just imagine the pain that poor family must be feeling and your heart aches for them.
