I came across these when searching for a way to protect my boy.

Table Toppers

Jackson is pulling himself up, and while he has got good very quick, he's known to be very "vigorous" at the best of times. So, that makes for an awful lot of smacks. I hover around him, but when he decides to drop to the floor, or bounce and flap, things can happen quickly. The other day he smacked his gums and got blood everywhere, and I nearly had a heart attack.

So, would love something similar or would even be happy to have someone make one for me.

Ideas?

That looks like a fantastic idea...expensive though. How about printing off the picture and measuring your table then ask a dress maker/ upholsterer to give you a quote? You could probably get all the materials quite cheaply through spotlight or para rubber.

Wow, that's a cool invention . We just lived without our coffee table while Jimmy was learning to pull up. When we took it away it slowed him down for a while (couches were too high for him to reach). But one day I left a banana box with lid on in the lounge and he started using that to pull up on instead. He loved it, and spent ages posting things through the hole in the lid too.
