Hiya

I have used cloth nappies for both my girls however i was wondering whether anyone had any preferences for nappies for boys? (since they pee in a different place on the nappy) or will most cloth nappies work the same for both gender? I have just sold most of my stash due to them being girly colours and now im trying to work out what to replace them with as im having a boy this time.

I think it comes down to personal preference and how heavy a wetter you end up having. Daniel has always been a very very very heavy wetter so anything low rise didn't work very well

Same here - low rise no good. Anything that I can add extra soakers round the front area is good! I personally find fitteds with a cover good.
Congrats on the boy boys are awesome!

Cool thanks guys that some "good" advice (lol Babe) I have a couple of itti bitti dlish nappies, do you think that they might be too low, or do you think they will be ok if i put an extra folded up pad in the front?

I used yoyo nappies on my wee girl, she has always been quite tall and I needed a higher rise nappy. She also slept on her tummy from maybe 5 or 6 months (can't remember now) so was always very wet at the front. What I found good was the flat bamboo inserts that I folded so there were more layers of bamboo at the very front of the nappy and none at the back just the microfibre. I found this worked really well as preventing leaks at the front. When she got older and was walking if I knew she was going to be up the whole time she had the nappy on I would just stuff it normally. Hope that helps you

I use ittis with both my boys during the day with no problems. Some times I havethe odd leak if they have an extra long sleep.

I've just started using covers on my itti bittis and that seems to help with any leaks.
