Heeey guys sorry if its a bit tmi but i need an answer.

Around 30 minutes ago i had a really sharp pain in my vagina that felt like my cervix opened a little bit. Im 38w3d and had my 'show' a few days ago.

All day iv been having little cramps and some backpain which both faded down.

Since the sharp pain iv been having more cramps and backpain (not in rhythem).

Could this be the start of labour or should i not worry. This is my first pregnancy (16 yrs old) and dont want to wake mum up for something silly.

I would wait until you are having bigger pains that are regular. It could be the start of labour, or it could just be those annoying pains that come with being so pregnant (like baby's head grinding on your pelvic bone, ouchy).
I am sure your mum wouldn't mind you waking her if you need support, but labour can take a while to get rolling IYKWIM so if you are comfortable waiting for as long as you can then let her sleep so she is well rested for when you *really* need her.
Good luck hun

ETA, I am sure plenty of people have told you that you will *know* when it is real labour, I always got sick of hearing it, but when I did have real labour pains, I certainly knew about it and felt a bit mean for waking DH up and keeping him up all night when I was just having nasty cramps lol

I still don't know when I'm "really" in labour. You could certainly be at the start of labour, or it might just go for a little while then stop again. Rule of thumb for waking people is when you need help. So if it's just a little "ouch!" and then okay, you're alright and they can sleep peacefully. But if your back really aches and you need someone to rub it or prepare a heat pack for you, go ahead and wake them up.

Could be the start of labour then again it could also go on for a few weeks. However when my waters broke was when I got sharp pain up there but my waters breaking was how I knew I was in labour.

If you are worried then def let someone know. If it's a false alarm then no big deal, better to be safe than sorry!
