Story here

How terrifying for the family. All my thoughts are with them. Praying he's found safe and sound, and soon!

Please, anyone in the area keep your eyes open for him.

Yeah my MIL just told me about it. There are big drians and a river in the area too. So horrible, I hope he turns up safely soon.

Oh wow Kellz
Not that you'd wish it on any family, but so much sadder when it is close to home like that.

They have brought in a dive squad now.

Fingers crossed he is found alive and well.

On our local radio news at mid-day, the police were still calling for everyone in the area to search their properties. Apparently he has wondered off alone several times before, towards his Dads place, which is where there was a sighting of him yesterday afternoon. They have not mentioned anything about it being suspicous at all. The police dive squad are on their way here to search the river.

When I read this my first thought was also of Aisling. It just made me feel so sad. My sister lives just a few minutes from Kaiti as well and when I think of the river there I just get this sinking feeling in my stomach. I hope they find him safely and it doesn't end up being another tragedy like with little Aisling.

Yes my heart breaks for them. I prayed for him earlier today but yes it reminds me a lot of Aisling's story. Just so horrible. There is nothing worse than something dreadful happening to a beautiful little child and as a mother it's devastating to think about..

ETA: very grateful we have an enclosed fence in our yard. Worth investing in when they become toddlers - until they work out the lock!

Luckily there is a big difference between a four year old and a two year old. I know Kaiti quite well too and when we heard the news, my heart sank. those drains are huge,......I remember falling in them as a adult.

Praying he is found safe and sound. Hopefully he's camped out somewhere.

Oh that doesn't sound good, that poor family, I cannot imagine there could be anything worse.

I hope he is found alive and well.

I hope the parents get an answer before too long, not knowing either way must be the hardest.
