My daughter is 7 weeks old, she sleeps well for the most part, but a lot of the time (at least once a day) she has trouble going down to sleep. She has a massive feed, and gets very yawny and falls asleep while feeding and spills a little bit so I know she's had a lot (!) but when I put her in her bassinet she wakes up again after 10 minutes and screams until she gets another feed, and we repeat the cycle again until she's finally had enough to eat and falls happily asleep.

I really don't know what to do, I suppose it's not really a problem as it mainly happens during the day or her last feed before her long nighttime sleep, but it's frustrating and it can't be nice for her either because she cries, each time I pick her up she takes another feed so I know she's hungry, has anyone else experienced this and would you have any tips??

Sounds like a typical feeding frenzy...

If its before her long nightime feed then shes probably cluster feeding so she can sleep as long as possible.

If it's late afternoon, probably cluster feeding. I used to sit on the couch with a feeding baby right though dinner and early evening. Luckily I had an understanding and helpful DH!
I'd say, just go with it. Phases at this age are usually pretty short.

Yep same as Isaacs Mum, I would just let them sleep on my chest until they woke for another feed, saves faffing around putting them to bed to get up up 5 mins later
