Heya ladies!

My shop idea has been stalled. My business partner has decided that she can't take on the challenge of opening a shop as well as raise her two gorgy little kidlets with as much love and time as she'd like.

Soooo... I'm on my own again. And I don't think I can do my study part-part-time so have to get that over and done with before I can concentrate on my shop.

So anyway, the moment I finish studying, I'm back into business mode. And in the mean-time have decided to do cloth nappy demonstrations... with Swaddlebees, Mummy's Touch, and Peapods. I am now going to be a scaled-down mobile selling machine! (That I can take at my own pace while I finish learning about International Politics. Argh.)

If anyone is interested in seeing the naps, has a coffee group or baby shower load of ladies that would like to see modern cloth, let me know!

I'm in the process of tracking down PIN groups and Wellington midwives

Sorry to be a bit OT but this has been bugging me for ages - what does PIN stand for?

Good luck!

you could look at travelling up to Palmy - tons of ladies there Nikki -

I'll talk to my cousin when i see her at xmas cause she has a ladies coffee group in Karori. I'm pretty sure she is using disposables with her second little girl, but may even be interested herself if i sing fuzzis praises.

Don't sing fuzzi praises! I don't have them!!!

Just sing general pocket nappy praises and I'll love ya forever!

I promise I'm not going to be one of those scary sales people who you feel you have to buy from to shut them up... I'd just like people to see the modern cloth. Because that's what got me excited about it, having no idea there were other things out there!

Just had another thought... in the very near future I get to trial ALL the modern cloth nappies available in NZ for one week (thru HC) so can give you a bit of feedback if you like?

Well, I wasn't going to study as I am now. But looked at the Vic site and I don't think I can do it over the next two years... I think there is a one year limit all up.

Otherwise I would have done it

And yeah, Aimee! That sounds great!

What is HC? (Sorry... slow me. Thought it'd be easier asking than going through the million possibilities and guessing!)

Are you still doing fuzzis too?

That's even worse!!

I do have a new idea every week.

But this one is far more realistic than any other career trip I have had so far.

And I have put much more effort and time into developing this than I have with anything else.

So in the mean time, I am going to start accumulating stock and a client base, then as soon as I finish school I am going to work towards the shop - which hopefully will be fully planned and able to be opened soon after.

While it isn't going to be opened as soon as I'd hoped, this is just an extended planning phase and interim operations.

Nikki, it sounds like you've got something you can be passionate about and often it can take a little time to work out exactly what that passion is. I've had about a million career changes. Believe it or not, i was planning to attend the NZ Drama school in wellington but had to defer cause of fees - am now training to be a teacher...not sure if thats my calling - so many little brats!
