 Topic: Trade Me problem

Ok, so my TM account went into the red (success fees from some auctions were more than what I had in credit), and I procrastinated topping it up for aaaaaaaaaages and they've suspended my account - but now I can seem to re-create my account or anything and am panicking that all my old auctions and ratings etc are gone !! Plus my email is already "taken" when I tried creating a new rego.... *sigh* Does anyone have any ideas, help, suggestions or advice? I'm desperate to try and get around starting over from scratch.

yeah give them a call and they can open your account again, we had the exact same thing happen to us and they just 'unlocked' it or something at thier end

oooh, i didn't know that could happen, my trademe account has been in the red for ages and i just can't be bothered topping it up as i'm not using it at the mo. hmmm, i may have to top it up quick smart, i don't want to lose all my feedback.
hope you get your account back up and running jax, i agree, just give them a call and see if they can work things out at their end.

The only thing that makes me hesitate about calling them is that it costs $2 a minute ! And I may have just been too tired, but I couldn't find where to email them from... (on the site)
*sigh*
I was planning on doing a BIG clear out of all the accumulated crap around our house when we get back from holiday, and shove most of it on Trade Me.

Baysmum - weeks ! I can't remember exactly, quite a long time... TOO long really. They've emailed me back and said I either have to make a direct payment / AP type thing (through online banking), or call them and pay via credit card over the phone, then they'll reactivate my account. Will try and remember to do it tomorrow I guess.

WOOHOO ! Just put the payment through from our Kiwibank account, and things should be all fixed up by the end of the week  So will then hopefully be able to start de-cluttering my house when we get home...

I dont think they would worry over .32c, they probably wont let you sell anything though. I know mine was about $50 cos we had sold something big as well as a heap of other things all at the same time and it was weeks and weeks before we went on again and realised it had been stopped.

That's right, I couldn't log on at all *sigh* But yeah, hopefully that will be history soon ! They will send you emails if your account goes into debt, two warnings before they tell you it's been suspended I think, but not sure after how long - sorry !
