Topic: Sensitive tummy button? Posted: 08 December 2006 at 7:57pm |
Has anyone had this? My tummy button, which isn't exactly flat, has been hurting off and on, but certainly sensitive to touch, in the last day or two. It feels like it has split or something. Anyone know what's going on?

Not sure if this is the same thing but mine hurts too, I think mine is due to rubbing on clothing (yes the inny is evolving to the outy), but can be very sore to touch after a day of rubbing.

Gosh that's weird. I wonder if I might actually get an outy this time, been all innies so far... although this time I'm almost flat.

Mine hurt when my tummy first started popping out and then again from 35 weeks plus when I was stacking on all the baby fat. Thankfully it stopped as soon as Benjy was born.

Well I've got it back again but it's not actually my tummy button, it's something just underneath the skin, and this time just beside the tummy button. But I think I'll put it all down to Baby growth spurting (hopefully the last time while in there?!) and stretching something.

I got that. I have a mole beside my tummy button and as my tummy button started popping out (which to my suprise it has already popped out this time round early as)it felt as if my skin was being pinched in between my mole and belly button. My midwife told me it was the stretching, I also noticed it when Haleigh would kick me.

Hmmmm... weird! Mine stayed an 'innie' but I absolutely hated it being touched - not sore, just sensitive.
