As I mentioned in my other post, I've been quite sick lately and have been demand feeding Benjy through it.
I'm back to eating and drinking normally now but I've noticed that I don't always get the letdown when I'm feeding him.
Can it be normal not to have a letdown?
I was at the stage, before getting sick, where my boobs didn't get 'full' unless I didn't feed on time or something but there seems to still be milk there after he feeds so I'm pretty sure he's not starving. I'm a little confused so I thought it was time to ask the experts

TIA!

I'd say your supply will sort itself out in a couple of days. From personal experience that "letdown" feeling gets less intense after a few months anyway but with being sick & not being eating & drinking as much (even though you are now) it's probably just a case of your supply needing to re-adjust.

I never felt let down with Maya at all, and only occasionally with the twins. Is it possible you are letting down and just don't feel it?
Is Benjy on solids? If so maybe he is taking less from the breast?
Thats all I can think of, I'm sure someone else will have some other suggestions...

I never felt the let down and with Anastasia being sick and going back to 80% b/f my milk supply has increased again, he will bring your supply back to what it should be if he was starving you would know!!
