thanks guys, yeah i do live close...infact i had made arrangements on saturday to go and see him and grandma tomorrow....so i feel really bad about not seeing him b4 he went...i am still going to see grandma tomorrow though.
His other grandkids who are overseas cant get back in time for the funeral which is really sad...so i am going to send a big bunch of flowers to his daughter today.
At least i know he is no longer in pain and is probably happier where he is now...its just so sad as we know that grandma wont last long now that he has gone.

Hugs Kaz. my grandfather actually died last week and it was pretty tough. If you are looking for a different kinda flower thing - i orderred a little tree from a place called Little memories (website may be www.littlememories.co.nz) and it was really neat. i got a pohutukawa tree for my dad - flowers in December - my grandfathers birthday. anyway, it was a nice alternative to flowers - which i couldn't really afford.
