Go thru and 'prune' the new Introductions thread? It's gotten a bit (or waaaay) off topic and in the interests of making it not so daunting for new members it was suggested to me that I might go thru and remove some of the OT posts.
Any objections?

yeah but if you start trimming one topic cause it goes OT people may start asking for others to be trimmed - and where do you draw the line? i think its just the nature of threads, incl intro threads. if we get newbies they may not even read them all just post their intro - or just not read the other stuff.
i say leave it as it is.

On this topic, I think there should be a sep forum page for intro, then any newb can start there own topic, intro thenselves, then that newb will feel welcomed by all that want to and it will just be about that person.
Thats just what I like when I join a new forum.
