Okay I dont mean being a wife or mother. But do you think you are good in all the other stuff around the house.

yeah yeah I know really sexist of me here but me being bored again.

My answer: I am so so. I clean the house each week and do the laundry once a week. I vacuum the lounge every day and then once a week the whole house. I such at ironing and let it pile up first. But if you get into my house it is always in chaos.

No . I am compulsive about vacuuming and tidying up 'stuff'. My kitchen is usually pretty clean, but I am pretty lazy about things like laundry and folding and anything outside of my normal cleaning routine.

to be honest, heck no.

Mike is the housewife in this house. lol

Nah, He likes to vacum the lounge etc, usually every other day unless it needs it, whereas i tend to do the whole house, the ceilings the skirting boards, use the attachments to do the dusting all around the house etc.. so we even out. I do it about once a week, he does it in between if he feels it needs to be done... but only in the lounge and kitchen.

he does the dishes,, because i suck at them, i hate the dishes. HATE them.

i do all the cleaning of the bathroom and toilet.. all of it.

he does the lawns and outsidey stuff.

i guess it all evens out. but no, am not a great housewife, mike definately is more motivated than me at present. I have a fewloads of washing to do.

I am if I may say so the best housewife in the world. I let the clean washing pile up until the pile is too big it starts to topple off the spare bed, and even then I only fold enough so that the pile doesn't topple. I don't believe in ironing, the clothes will iron themselves out over the course that you are wearing them. The meals I cook for myself and DP only borderline on healthy. But I must say my kitchen is always spotless, can't cook in a messy and dirty kitchen.
I love vaccumming though so that is always done, I would vaccum all day if I could.

nope i suck.
i am ok at keeping the lounge cleanish although there always seems to be toys everywhere.
there os a reason why our bedroom door is usually shut.i keep the bathroom clean. and df keeps the kitchen tidyish and does the washing. i fold it though when the pile gets so big its falling off the chair.
and the rest gets done on needs to be done basis

I think I'm pretty good, but I used to be terrible!

I make sure I do the dishes, the washing (if I need to do any), pick anything up that's been left around, make the bed, wipe the coffee table, change the rubbish bag and anything else that I can find to do. This is everyday. I also cook every night as I don't really like DP doing it. He makes a big mess. I make his lunch every day too otherwise he won't eat.

Twice a week I vacuum everywhere and mop the kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Oh and clean the toilet, but I seem to do that more than twice a week.

Once a week I clean the bath, the shower, do the dusting and wash all the sheets and things like that.

Once every few weeks I clean the windows, the window sills and weed the gardens.

Some of these things are pretty hard to do at the moment, so I just half-arsed do the ones that require bending down.

DPs ONLY job is to take the rubbish and recycling out to the road once a week and he NEVER remembers.

lol hell no!

I hate cleaning and washing. We clean the house once a week together. I hate cleaning the kitchen with a passion.

Sucky thing is DH is just as bad, he will only clean if he sees me cleaning otherwise he would leave it for months. When I first moved in with him he admitted to not having vaccumed his house in a few months - he actually couldn't tell me when he last did it!

At least I'm not quite THAT bad.

I'm getting better sloooowly
I try to keep the lounge kitchen area clean and tidy, especially the kitchen, it stresses me out otherwise and I cant cook in a messy kitchen.
I never can seem to get on top of the washing, there is always clothes waiting to get washed in the laundry, although I do fold them as soon as they are dry. I HATE ironing, there is always a pile waiting on the ironing board.
I do keep the bedrooms tidy - I find I cant sleep very well if our bedroom is messy.

Oh god I'm a freak.

I get it off my mother and I'm not even as bad as her. She is up at the crack of dawn jiffing the bath, pulling weeds, vacuuming, tidying, washing, anything and everything, all while smiling. She loves to clean and I'm turning out like her.

Well I do about 2 lots of both dishes and laundry (hardly any bench space, and I still wash the baby stuff separately for some reason) a day, and cook nutricious dinners, dust every few days (we have unsealed gib & plaster walls in the lounge - friggin dusty), and clean the whole house once a week, so I think that's pretty good going, especially since I do ALL the indoor housework here.  But there's some stuff I'm terrible about - the showerbox gets scrubbed out when DH has had enough of it and lifts a finger (hey - why would I mess with the one chore he does?!?), the windows never get cleaned (it's a saftey feature - no birds have tried to fly through them yet!), the hard floors usually just get vacuumed rather than mopped, and there's no point cleaning out the inside of the cupboards because they're quite literally falling apart.  A half-renovated house is never going to look that clean compared to the amount of effort that goes into cleaning it, so I keep telling myself that our new house years down the road will reflect my housewifely efforts much better.

I go through bouts of needing to clean (I'm in the throes of one at the moment) and then I leave stuff for ages so then I have to clean....horrible cycle really.

So long as nappies and bottles are done I figure everything is under control!

I'm responsible for the day to day housework but when I was pg with Krystiana it really got on top of me, especially once we moved to an almost double sized house! So I pay for a cleaner once a week to clean the toilets and bathrooms, mop, vacuum, make (and change) beds, and clean the mats under the girls' table seating. Most of that is week-about and it costs me $25 for 1 1/2 hours

And I'm responsible for the rest (except for putting DH's clothes away) - unless I ask DH specifically for help, which is usually clearing the table and putting a load of dishes in the dishwasher at night, and taking the rubbish and recycling out weekly. And I think I'm pretty good at it really, nothing piles up too much cause I can't handle being a SAHM looking at piles too much lol. But I almost haven't needed to do any washing or dishes for the last 6 weeks thanks to ACC

Oh my gosh, I have a real problem in this territory. I have just started back at work full time this week and have noticed how much I am taken for granted!!!!! (I was working 30 hours but now am working 40)

I wash DP & my clothes 3 times a week, Tyrells clothes are washed every other day.
Dishes are done twice a day. I vacuum lounge twice a week, vacuum full house and mop floors once a week. Iron...not existant in my house. Bathroom is cleaned twice a week. I do the rubbish every morning and then place the main bin and recycling out on rubbish day. I cook at least 5 days a week, 1 day is take aways and by day 7 get your own or go without. I cook for Tyrell once a week that is inside.
Outside our rent covers the lawns, and once a month a weed the garden.

I think that covers it.....this is a huge problem with DP & I as I do the whole lot really!
