Topic: it puts the lotion on its skin.... Posted: 05 July 2007 at 2:14pm |
both our boys have chicken pox! very annoying. AND we discovered pus-ee (how do you spell it?) spots on sunday and there is ONE, count 'em, ONE, pharmacy open on a sunday here. so with no petrol I traipse in to get calamine lotion. so we are lotioning the boys everyday. Jake is refusing to wear pants as they annoy him (more likely he just doesn't want to wear pants - am starting to hope this isn't a sign for later in life). and taine is grizzly and insisting on sleeping in our bed. am tired. bless coffee! BUT on the bright side, have applied for about a million jobs for both Lew and myself and my cover letters are becoming a brillinat work of art
"dear (insert name here)
I am writing in regards to your advertisement featured in the (whatever) for a (position). I believe that my skills and abilities make me a suitable candidate for this job.
blah blah blah
am also slightly bored. could do dishes....or an assignment...hence being online. Jake is watching Dora

LOL love the heading of this thread! That movie is classic.
How awful having both kids with the pox!! I'm sooo dreading it hitting out family - also because I've never had it, so completely & utterly freaked out that I'll get it. Although I think I'm immune? I must be to not ever have caught it even when my 3 siblings all had it at once when we were young.

silence of the lambs - the psycho killer says to the supposed victim "it puts the lotion on its skin or it gets the hose again"
I keep thinking that line everytime I put calamine lotion on the kids.

lol Lizzle.... it sits in the bath with the stinky lotion (pinetarsol works wonders on the itchy yukky chook pox, it just stinks your house out)
