Is anyone doing anything exciting??

Mine's pretty standard... I'm having a DVD and yummy dinner night tomorrow with a friend and my parents are visiting on Sunday.

I'd much rather be saying that I was flying away to a beautiful secluded beach to drink pina coladas (and where there's NO RAIN!)

Well tomorrow night I am going out for dinner with my parents and my mum's family (yay so can't wait to see them) as they leave to go to live in Oz on Thursday. Tomorrow during the day I am putting together the presents Andrew and Josh have for them to take with them. Have to pick the photos up from The Warehouse and try and find the words to some sayings.

Sunday I fully intend on sleeping somehow I think Josh will have other ideas.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

We have two of DH's aunts staying with us until Sunday - tomorrow night is FIL's (their brother's) surprise 50th birthday party so is gonna be a big and long weekend for us. I'm already tired cause it's been a big week for us! Then on Sunday we're booked for an afternoon movie and the girls will ALL be staying at home with a sitter. Yay for us!

Oooh Teresa.. good idea with the movie!

We are travelling off to New plymouth (Hawera to be precise) for my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary. Should be interesting as we don't really associate with dad's side of the family. Will be nice for my dad to finally meet Ayja though, last time i saw him i think i was 18 wks preggers with her.

Hence, as i said to Teresa today, lol, I feel the need to make myself look great, am adjusting to my new hair colour.. didn't turn out the way i wanted but daycare manager told me i looked good so musn't be that bad. lol. I think i just need not to look as much of a mummy.. lol whatever that means.

Funny how you never want to appear as yourself when you go to stuff like that. although really, maybe i am just trying to get back to being my old self by taking a bit of time to dye my hair and get some clothes that aren't stretched/easy to bf in (even though i haven't had to worry about that for at least a year!) or stained by some grubby mits or mouths. lol.

I do feel better. Am just grumpy that I am so darn short. I want to wear my heels but my pants are still too long, even with stiletto heels, they fold over on the ground, lol. I am far too darn short. was gonna take em up this evening but didn't happen.

Anyways. I must say, Teresa i forgot to tell you your hair cut looks great!

Tonight - we've watched project runway..(mine & Nyah's fave prog), had takeaways, hubbies watching league and i'm on here.
Tomorrow hubbie and son playing golf. Us girls will head to Onehunga for coffee & a fluffie. Sat night, Auckland is playing and then the warriors. We'll be watching both games, inbetween cooking roast..
Sunday - no plans.

Might think about doing some housework and washing too.

well i am going shopping this morning with the boys and mum, then the afternoon i am meetin up with my lecturer to go over some plays (how exciting), and then tomorrow possibly dropping off my nephews birthday present as we missed his party! He turned 7 last week and came down iwth foot and mouth (apparently) the day before his party so all his little friends had to be uninivited. poor boy. he had a nice day anyway though.

AND i have to plan my next two weeks lessons for schol. ahh, the excitement never stops in the Marama household.

I had to giggle it's funny how most of us are going to be doing the housework.. man we need too, with being a house full on sickies all week, lucy, DH and then me, the housework has been put on hold.

Going for a walk today and making the most of this warmish weather, meant to be another 18.C, NW winds, not going to let the buggy roll into the river this time though !!!

Ummm... most weekends are pretty quiet around here, DH is at soccer, lucy asleep and me on here AGAIN!!

argh, tell me about it. the girls woke nice and early this morning after me getting up to ayja about hourly if not more frequently last night for her darn cough. Off we went to hawera.. was ok, girls behaved immaculately though, and then stuck around had tea with my sisters at their motel before leaving to come home. Ayja went to bed finally at 9pm.. she had not slept all day and was just soooo well behaved despite this. I tried to make her sleep a few times but she has never really been a "fall-asleep-anywhere" kinda kid.. never slept in the buggy when she was little, and onthe way home Paris went to sleep, i told ayja to go to sleep and she told me "no, we don't go to sleep in our car, me will go to sleep in bed!" and she did....
