I want like a dinner tray with a beanbag type thing under it, but where oh where do i find these!!!!!
Anyone have any ideas? i have tried briscoes, warehouse, plastic box kmart, farmers all with no luck!
(briscoes do have what we want but not big enough for laptop!)

Any suggestions people!

I sit it on the table and prop it up with 2 books so the fan isn't obscured.

Dick Smith have laptop stand things that you can still put on your lap and have a pull out tray for a mouse. Or you can get actual stands that prop them up but you need a keyboard and mouse IYGWIM.

Otherwise my only suggestion would be Warehouse but you've looked there...

What about a breakfast tray?? That would rest either side of your legs?

Mines on a laptop stand, kind of looks like a display stand that picture frames sit on. Mines form bytes and pieces - google them and you can see the different options they have.

I seem to remember seeing the trays with bean bags in those homecare (??) magazines- ya know the ones full of "handy" things you never really need? We get the magazines dropped off on the doorstep and DH always has to take them off me cos I'm like "ooooh LOOK!"

We sit ours on an egg tray... the air gaps help keep it really cool! Looks funny though.

Ohh I have one of those knee trays they are fantastic... I think the couple who make them used to sell them at Avondale Markets or somewhere like that.

I have their contact details. PM me if you want them - not sure how up to date the phone numbers are. Have had it for awhile. (used to be my grandads).

Husband has a thing he got from Dick Smith that the laptop sits on and it has a fan in it to keep the laptop from overheating.
