   Hey there
Just wondering if they still have those homes for teenage mums or pregnant teens. I know of a 17 year old who has no-where to go. She is 3 months pregnant at this point. If you know of anywhere please post. I did a google but nothing came up. Will check salvation army.

 Thanks

yup , I was there , I was there in 2002 when I was pregnant with my daughter Caitlyn , and i've known others since who have gone there .
I thought it was pretty good, not perfect, but then what is ? but overall a supportive , friendly environment and they fed me too , haha
PM me if you want anymore details

An alternative might be Mercy Ministries in Auckland. I'm not sure whether the Auckland facility caters for pregnant mums but the overseas ones do. Again, it is also a Christian-based facility.

   I also would suggest Bethany.
A care worker there bought a baby walker from me on TM the other week and asked for any donations for the babies there, which shows they are really helpful and caring. She came to pick up and left with bags & bags of stuff |

I know there is a school for teen mums to go to, but not sure about a live-in place... My ex-FIL used to be a teacher at the school... I'll ask him if he knows of anything.

Young mommy - Try citizens advice bureau. They might be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck.

I'm in new plymouth. If I had my own place I'd take her in but I live with family.
I'm more then happy to ' befriend ' her if she needs support and hand me down baby things

Trudz If you are referring to my first post seeking help for my neice in NP here is an update. She was accepted into the wellington house of grace. However since then she has decided not to go and she has not been in contact with anyone in the family. So we don't know what she is doing now and how to help her out. It is an unfortunate situation as we have a large family that will help her out if she would let us. The problem is she won't accept any help from us. I thought she might accept help from a third party such as one of these facilities. But I was wrong. Hopefully she will change her mind.
ETA thanks for your kind offer though.
