We've been using itti's every day for the last 6 weeks or so and pretty much every single day we get a leak. Often out the top front and other times when he's either been in the jolly jumper or exersaucer or even in the car seat for a bit they leak out the legs. I can't really do them any tighter or they look stretched at the sides.
Any ideas? I want to keep using them but all the leaks are starting to annoy me.
We use both SIO and AIO's and both do it.

how long do you hae them on for and do you use boosters?
it could be compression wicking, where something else is squishing the pee out like the jolly jumper etc...

What size are you in? Funny that we had exactly the same thing with our mediums (and i swore I wasn't going to use them anymore, because they were annoying me so much), but once we upsized to large (when she was about 9-10 months) we haven't had a single leak since. But maybe your little one might yet be a bit small for them!
I believe some of our problem too was due to build up of powder/cream as well, as I wasn't using liners at that point!  (even though I tried to use 'nappy friendly' options).
I think the fact that DD is no longer sitting/lying on her bum all day helps too, as Bizzy said, compression wicking can be a problem.

Are they new itti's or second hand?
Are you using barrier cream?
Is his penis pointing a funny direction?
He might be a fast wee'r & need a microfibre booster if SIO are leaking. They are heaps more absorbent than AIO.
Is he dry before you put him in the JJ etc?

I had the same issue with my itti's. Perhaps try a booster in them and see how that goes. Is the nappy totally soaked when it leaks?

I change him every 2- 2.75 hours, pretty much just before every nap, which is usually 45 mins, then he's up for 1.5-2 hours. If he has a long nap I change him after that too.
But you could be on to something with the compression thing as he's either sitting or often on his tummy. Plus that would explain the JJ and exersaucer problem too. I've started making sure he's in a fresh nappy when going into those or at least when he first wakes up, and I think that's helping.
I've never used creams with them, only sometimes curarash which they said was ok? But usually nothing.
He's on the second setting out of the mediums, so I was hoping not to need to go up to the next size yet as the legs have only just started to fit him properly too. Sometimes the SIO's look a little big around the legs so that could be an issue but I think the AIO's look perfect at the mo.
They're new and I'm pretty sure everything is pointing in the right direction.
Maybe once he's a bit more mobile things will improve. I just noticed before they're probably fitting a bit better around the waist too, so maybe he was in between the two settings and maybe things will improve now?
I don't want to have to give them up as I was so excited to get them plus it's nice saving that extra money in the groceries each week.

Yeah, I guess it is pretty wet, I just figure 2 hours or so doesn't seem like long enough to cause a leak so maybe boosters are the way to go and lucky they're not too pricey 
I've got one so I just put it on now before he went to sleep.
With putting them in the dryer, mine only has regular and airer - do I put them on airer? With winter coming I might have to dry them sometimes so thought I better check.

Curash was our downfall! that's what we used too, and i swear it caused the build-up on the nappies (which i will have to try and strip before i use them next time!)
try a liner or strip them, and see what happens without curash powder?

Since I switched to johns cornstarch baby powder our ittis are not leaking anymore.. I think it was the curash too! Its quite a heavy powder and I think it was caking when he first wet....
How do you strip ittis??? I just rinse them heaps and heaps and wash them a couple of times and then put them in the sun....

I guess you could either attack them with a bit of dishwashing detergent and a scrubbing brush, followed by a hot wash or two.....I haven't tried the vinegar and baking soda thing on them, so don't know if it's recommended for them or not?

Stripping is done by:
To do this, wash your nappies on hot, with 1/4 cup of dishwashing detergent, then continue to rinse until there are no more bubbles.
