Topic: A small miracle... Posted: 30 January 2007 at 10:41am |
I woke up at 6.30am this morning feeling a bit confused, especially when I realised it was daylight outside and the house was quiet....
THE GREMLINS HAD SLEPT ALL NIGHT!!!!!
I had to think really hard whether I had actually gotten nup to feed them or not, but nope, no empty bottles in the sink - they had a dream feed at 10.30pm and slept all the way thru till almost 7am!
I don't expect it will happen again soon, especially as we are flying backto NZ tomorrow and their sleeps will be all wacky with the time difference, but I'm still pretty excited all the same

That's fantastic!!!! My Ollie has been sleeping through the night for a little while now but last night he woke up 2 times I think it could either be a growth spurt or perhaps because I haven't been swaddling him for the last couple of nights and been trialling out a sleeping bag he doesn't seem to sleep that long.

That's great news Emma!
When Caitlin started sleeping through the night she was about their age too. Took me a while to trust that she actually would continue to go 7+ hours and it was a least a month before I stopped making the bottle for the 2am feed I should have more faith in her
Have a safe trip home and hopefully we'll catch up soon with ALL of our girls! Should be interesting

Hip hip hooray for the Gremlins!! I'm sure they'll be fine, long may it continue. I must say I was really surprised that my wee man didn't get stuffed up.

That's awesome, Emma. Here's hoping they liked it and want to do it again and again!
