Not sure if it taboo to mention other parenting forums on here?? but I was curious as to how many others frequent the Trademe parenting board?
It's so different from here, I'm more a lurker than a poster those women scare me!!  Much prefer OHbaby

while pregnant with Jae I used to post in the June 09 thread, but kept well away from any others... these days OB and FB is enough for me, dont really have time for any other forums!

Yip I agree!!
I do lurk on TM however I only post things on here because on there it can turn pretty nasty and it is very easy to get attacked for a simple question.

My mum had a look on here and admitted we're all quite nice and wondered if we ever get randoms posting ridiculous stuff just to cause an up roar.

I lurk quite a bit on TM as does DH and depending on the subject will post. Not so often now I guess because we're busier but DH loves a good 'discussion'

Gosh I haven't looked at the TM one - will have a looksee.
Looked at Treasures site and OB site when pregnant with Brooke, and eventually chose the OB site. There appeared to be a lot of infighting on the Treasures one and the moderator was constantly shutting down threads that got out of hand.

Yeah I have ventured to a few different ones over the years aswell, none quite as shocking as the TM forums.

Well that sounds supportive! I think in the time I've been here I have seen ONE thread get locked. I may have missed one but I doubt it.
OB rules, even when people argue here it doesn't (usually) turn into all out war!

i love OB better, coz its colourful and you get tickers and stuff too and the people are generally nicer, the only thread im in on there is my due in thread, and thats only coz i want to talk to as many mums in the same position as me lol otherwise i wouldnt bother
