Hi all
I had a premmie june 2006 - he was 8 weeks early - just wanted to know what other mums with premmies at this age are doing. how they are growing
my little man is just over 6kilos now and he is about 63cms long - not a big baby - what about everyone else.

Hi there, I also had a prem is June 06 - Ashleigh was 14 weeks early and weighed 1lb 15oz. She is now around 7 kgs, 61 cms and doing extremely well! She has started rolling in the last couple of weeks, can sit unaided for 10 secs or so, is enjoying her solids and could stay jumping in her jolly jumper for hours There isn't any other mums of prems on here born last year (That I can think of - sorry if there is!!) but Tastic had a little 26 weeker in November and he is still in hospital.

How long was your boy in hospital and what did he weigh? Which hospital was he born in?
Kelly, mum to DD, 19Jun06 (26wks 1lb15oz) DS1, 24Oct10 (32wks 4lb11oz) and DS2, 31Dec11 (32wks, 4lb11)

Jacks mum - the bubs would have all been due around the same time though so birth age for EDD would be the same...

Having been through the stress of being warned we were having a premmie and trying to get past 30 weeks I was prepared for an early one...so know how much you guys must have been through...I hope the bubs reach milestones in their own time and am pleased to hear they are all doing so well....

I know what you mean Bombshell - I had a false labour at 26 weeks and was told I'd be lucky to get to 32 weeks so was totally prepared for premmies, and a little overwhelmed at actually getting (close) to term!

I had a premmie in July 2005 she will be 2 soon and she is an absolute miracle, she was born weighing 3lb1oz at 30 weeks gest, my waters broke at 24 weeks so was so happy to get to 30 weeks. To look at her now you would not even think she was a premmie, she is a little tub and meeting her milestones along with her peers of the same age.
