We've been using Tots Bots bamboozles (size 2)with a Mother Ease wrap for the past 18mths and they have been fab but Hayden is 2 now, not particularly close to TT but the wraps are too small and I think the nappies themselves are too small. He is above the weight range they recommend and the velcro seems to pop open with his vigorous toddler antics - can anyone explain what low rise is? I think the nappy is sitting really low in the front but I dont think its causing any leaks.

I was originally recommended the Bambinex all in one birth to potty but then someone else said its not very absorbant.

Any ideas of options?? He is solid and tall but not chunky, 16.7kgs. I'm guessing we'll be 2.5yrs before seriously sorting TT he refuses to even sit on the potty 90% of the time. I dont have any nappies for the newborn to 6mths age, as we went straight to the size 2 at 6mths when we started cloth.

Looking forward to your suggestions

A petite size pocket nappy might work. Where are you located I hav a few of the old style fuzzi in the petite size you can try.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

You are so sweet but we are in the UK, would cost a silly amount of money to post - thank you for the thought tho!

I can get hold of a Fuzzibunz Perfect Size 25lb to 45lb pocket nappy for £10 - do you think that is worth a punt?? I've never used a pocket nappy before

From what I can tell most of the birth to potty options only cover up to 35lbs and DS is 2yrs and currently 37lbs and I think we've got another 6mths before getting into TT properly. I dont really understand as he's a big boy but not huge, not chubby either, how can 35lbs be the weight of the average potty trainer???
