We have an awful neighbour (we've had a few of them and I'm sick of having to call noise control and the police).  This one is across the driveway from us - we're both on back sections.  All the houses around us are really close together, so we all need to be considerate - I never played my drums after 9pm, that sort of thing.  You just expect people to think of others like that.

This rotten neighbour likes to get trashed and invite a van full of incredibly loud equally trashed women over at odd hours of the night - they always get dropped off by an army driver, and they're TANKED.  Doesn't matter if it's 2am, 4am - anytime... they pump the music and then all hang out in our shared driveway squealing away at the tops of their voices.  Once they thought it was funny to shift our neighbour's motorbikes and hide them on our section while we slept.  Oh how hilarious (losers).  I've gone and talked to him and he's said he's sorry and he keeps asking "the girls" to go around the back of his section if they're going to be loud.  Yeah, right.  And this morning - hubby's one chance for a much needed sleep-in, they turn up at 6am, pump the music rediculously loud, and hang out shouting the neighbourhood down.  Hubby went over to ask them to shut up and ended up just getting abuse thrown at him (and came back kinda disturbed at the sight of our neighbour in his full drag-queen regalia!).  They woke Ella, both of us, and the rest of the neighbours.

We have friends who live on the other side of this rotten neighbour.  And it just so happens that they are going away all day today... and their garage backs right up to his house... and they agreed it was a fantastic idea to set up a stereo in their garage, blaring away so the dodgy neighbour can't sleep his hangover away.  So now he's stuck between the compresser we've set up in our drive (oh it's LOUD and irritating!) and  (he he ... snigger snigger) the song "Happy Happy Joy Joy" (remember Ren and Stimpy?!?) blaring away on repeat!  And should he go over to ask them to turn it down, there's no-one home and he can't get to the stereo... MWAH HA HA HA HAAAAAAAA!!!!  Feels mighty fine.  And it's perfect - we can just hear it from here so it's not bothering the rest of the neighbours, just him, the rotten sod.

Or, be like us, the Bickersons, and fight and bicker in the driveway every day, so that on the occasions that you don't bicker, the neighbours thing one or both of you has been a victim of fatal domestic violence and comment on it quite loud every time our back door opens... (well, *lady*, and I use the term loosely, beats swearing and cursing f words at all and sundry, especailly the kids like you do..)

Far out, Bombshell... that's a pretty rotten way for the neighbourhood to enjoy the festive season!  The 1812 Overture?!???  I mean - it's not even christmasey!  I hate obnoxious noisy neighbours (probably fair to say that this one now hates us, too!).  Meh.
