Some general advice to all Mums of toddlers...

It is NOT a good idea to attempt to fill a bean bag with your 2 year old 'helping'.

You just wouldn't believe how those little beans can get EVERYWHERE (including every room in the house, DS's butt crack, down my top, in the washing machine and that is just the start of the list).

ohh we had a bean bag incident last year so can totally relate. They also go really static so the vacuum cleaners isn't much help as they stick to the head of it and the hose.

Haha, my dog 'helped' me load mine. He must have been all staticy because the little white balls stuck all over him and it took me ages to get them all off.

When C was 2 she came into the bathroom and said
"mum....its snowing "
went out to the lounge and beanbag beans every where, covering the entire floor .
"who did this Caitlyn?"
*points* "the cat, baddddd cat "
pretty impressive unzipping from a creature without opposable thumbs ...

last night I learned that I must finish what I start so next time I am doing a big clean & putting broken things in the shed ready to be thrown out I must make sure I don't leave any behind...like the wooden leg piece of a chair that DS2 tried to make in to a boomerang & smashed the window & I must NOT use that shelf to put my dinner set on as it fell...don't much matter now as it smashed nearly everything & I only have 2 dinner plates left..boo hoo

I learnt that when you drop a normal glass bowl and a pyrex bowl the normal bowl will smash and go EVERYWHERE and the pyrex bowl survives intact.

I then learnt that vacuuming and mopping the lino doesnt get all of the glass; your foot works best for this.
