it is rather hot and with a wee one it's quite hard.. I feel your pain with the heat Sabrina as I was like that the 2 times I have been UTD. Try and get some nice cool wearing clothing.
We are off to Napier for xmas so this could be interesting as we will be camping.. could have a very grumpy boy

I know what you mean! That sun is burning hot even for just 10 seconds in it!
Have been covering DD in sunblock and we haven't been in the sun much but it's just so hot everywhere! Hopefully it's a nice summer though!
Have just been wearing light clothing but dressing DD in things that are cool but cover her - am so worried about her getting sun burnt!

Yep - I've been cringing everytime I have to breastfeed! Hot little baby snuggled up next to me - not fun!

Yesterday was 27! Was bloody hot! We took the kids to the beach in the morning to play before the sun came out from the clouds, and then in afternoon when it was crystal clear and sweltering we went back to the beach for a swim, they loved it!
Todays meant to be 24, Ive had my door open since 7.30am cos its stuff in here.

its nice and cool and overcast here today but we have had some scorchers lately, the kinds of days where it is just too hot to be outside and you need to hide from the sun. Summer is going to be sooo hot this year I think!

Sheza I think we are going to be much more that 24 today, its already 22.8 and its not even 9.30 yet.
Feel so much sympathy for those of you who are pregnant, I was pregnant last summer with a feb baby and it sucked big time.

It's pretty shocking isn't it, I agree that it's going to be a hot summer if this is how it carries on!
Thankfully I'm not as pregnant as I was this time last year with my Jan baby but still it's going to be tough come mid-summer! DH was awesome at getting out the chilly bin and filling it with iced water and I used to soak my feet every day... might have to get that out again this summer!

It's crazy!!! We're meant to follow Europes hot summers 2 years later, not a year later! So this summer should have been bad, and next summer stunning!!!
DS has been living in a tshirt that does up under the bum!! I feel so sorry for him!
I'm red-head and burn soooo crazy easily, and we've been chewing through the sunscreen something crazy already I'm coating DS in it cos I'm just a bit paranoid!!!!

Our house is like a sauna and our deck has no shade, but luckily we have a hose and a beach and pool nearby ....
Its stinking hot, and I am not used to being heavily pregnant over summer, but for all that its hot, I love it, im a summer baby, I love summer and everything it entails such as bbqs, parties, christmas, my birthday , new years etc etc, its my favourite time of the year, so even tho it might be really hot ,I would still prefer it to winter

TheK me too! Love summer! Was pregnant (heavily) over last summer and it wasn't too bad, just over night was! So far (and it's only late Nov) I am feeling like I did when I was 9 months with Lily so I think it's going to be a great summer!
Bring on the BBQs, beach etc!
But today in Welly it's overcast/foggy, muggy... But kinda chilly!

I love summer too!! It is pretty hot in our house though, and Hunters room is north facing so is like an oven by lunchtime. I might look into hiring a aircon unit for a few months?
We are off to the beach whenever he decides to wake up.

I love summer too!
I would love to be outside rather than stuck in an air conditioned office!

Bring on summer. We have already been swimming at the beach. Bought DD a blow up seat that has a blow up umbrella on it. Once she had adjusted to the water she was happy as anything. I have one of those kids that shivers and freezes but still doesn't want to get out of the water!
