Usually, only 1 glass of wine. But since having DS I wouldn't drive after anything coz even just 1 glass has me a little on the tipsy side!!

I am the same, I don't drink at all if I am driving. I prefer DH not to drink at all if he is driving either but he will sometimes have a beer or two if we are out for dinner and ther a while

Yep me too, usually nothing or maybe one glass of wine if I'm around at my Mums or something 'cause usually I'm there a while gasbagging!

I don't have any drinks if I know I'm going to be driving because my tolerance is quite embarassing
Mind you I haven't drunk anything since before DD was conceived (so well over two years LOL) so would probably just have to look at a drink to get tipsy these days

To be honest in the past 1 or 2 wines. Depends on if a meal is involved or how long we are there. If we are there for 5 ish hours with a meal then 2 glasses. If a quick meal and less time only 1.
However now I don't drink so I am the sober driver all the time with no stress as to whether I will be just over the limit.

It depends. Sometimes I can have 2 RTDs and be pretty tiddly, but then other times I can have 2 RTDs and be completely fine. Depends on my mood, how much I've eaten, what I've been doing and where I am. So I take all of that into consideration when I decide whether or not to drive, but usually I end up staying somewhere, just in case

If I'm driving then I won't touch any alcohol, my thinking is that I'd rather have all my wits about me.. a few friends think it's a bit OTT lol but it's just one of those things I've always done.
DH will have one or maybe two beers at the most and that's it. Though he's extremely happy that for two years in a row now, he can go for gold at this time of year and he has a sober driver

I normally set myself a limit of one drink for each 2 hour block, but wouldnt drink wine as that goes straight through me, RTDs or self-mixed are really all I drink unless I'm home (although this year for obvious reasons I wont be drinking anything!)
I always make sure I have something in my stomach before going anywhere that I may end up having a drink though

Depends, if i sign up as sober driver and go out knowing i am driving i don't drink at all but i will drive if i've been sitting at home, had a (as in one) drink and decide to pop out to the shops. If i've had one drink at home and then decide to go into town to meet friends i may have one more if i'm out over a long period of time - ie. hours.
I'm not comfortable drinking anything then driving kids - obviously not my own yet, but other peoples kids as well. You're just that little bit more responsible in my head.
I have broken the laws in other ways though - taken an extra passengar without a seatbelt for example - in a situation where them not being in the car would leave a very very drunk young woman alone in an isolated area for up to an hour if i were making two trips. Or when some of the boys were insisting they'd drive themselves if they didnt go RIGHT NOW. I'd rather have four drunks in the backseat then three drunks and a friend injured/killed.
Off topic much!?

I have drunk 1/2 a bottle of wine and driven. I was totally fine as I had eaten but I wouldn't do it again. I have a friend who drunk 1 dozen beer + 6 double rums and was under the limit but there was no way he would of driven, the cop was blown away when the reading came back (we used to have a cop play in our band and he brought the the full test machine into band to test us all one night). He had a driver so it was fine but still he had so much to drink and still under the limit.
Now I can have 1 drink and I am fine (usually a woody) but no more these days.

I've had maybe 1 or 2 drinks since having my first child. Even tho there are reletivly large age gaps with my kids I breastfeed them all for a long time. Youngest was the shortest but he self weaned due to pregnancy..I was 16 when I had my first so I was only on my learners before that! My DH will have 1 or 2 beers before driving but will have zero if he has to drive with one of the kids. I usually drive when it comes to family outtings so that he can enjoy a few beers.

if im eating (going out for dinner) i have one drink. thats it.
if im not eating (going around to someones place 'for drinks') then i wont. if im sober driver then wont touch it.
but if im having a meal, i also make sure i have time after it (eg. have one drink with my meal, then leave an hour or 2 later.... like having a yarn at mum n dads lol)

i must say it was a nice suprise to see that most people wont drink or will only have a couple when they are driving. maybe its because most (just about all) of you are parents
I work with people (most of whom are females) that will have 3+ wines or beers at work drinks (1 and a half hours at the most) and then drive home I know im a bit of a prude when it comes to drinking but i just dont think its worth the risk of something happening.
