Well a little sad

.  Ok so here is the short version of the story.   As some off you know I have been having a bit of a hard time letely and went ot the doc now on "happy pill's".  She also gave me a low does pill.  Which is not working for me  I have been bleeding foir a whole month non stop.

So here is the bit I am a little sad about I went ot have blood test's done to check my iron level's and they are really really low (at least we know why I am so darn tired).  Yhe news is bacuase of this I can have the Mirrena(SP?) done for free of course if I go through with this it will really put a hold on our baby making plan's was hoping for a small gap again.  I know it is prob for the best  this week has proven to me I could not cope with anymore at the momnet  wait till Mikey is 2.

I am just really sad at the momnet  I want a big family and feel like its just never going to happen.  I knoiw we will have more children, but I am one of thoes people that is just not very good at waiting.

 

Oh yeah just to add the whole process of having it put in in hte first place scare's the crap out of me.  I hate anything happening down there

Awwwwwwwwwww *HUGS* I know how you feel, I want to have a big family too! and it will happen for you. You may be feeling sad due to your medications, I know that when you first start it takes a little while before they start to kick in, and you may feel worse than before you started them, so that may be contributing to how you're feeling at the moment. 2 years isn't that much of a gap between bubbas, and by the looks of things you are definitely on your way to making your big family :D. I have to wait about 5 years before I have my next one, as I'm wanting to finish my nursing degree (hmmm and start it for that matter lolz). Don't worry, once you're ready things will come into place

Deb my mum had a big family and was anaemic but refused to take "medication" (ie iron tablets) for it, and us older kids remember her "sitting down all the time" (not literally all but we were kids)... either because she was breastfeeding (she did until 18mos-2yrs on average) or just super tired all the time. So don't be so hard on yourself, you're doing the best thing for your family. Also, like Andie said, you're plenty young to afford a 2-3yr gap but still have a big family... and you'll enjoy it all the more! (Hey look at Andie, she's older than us! )

Having the Mirena put in isn't that bad at all!
I thought it would be horrible but it was more of a pinchy feeling than pain and was over really quickly. I had very minor cramping in the hours afterwards and nothing at all after that.

Sorry for asking such a nosey question, but what's a Mirena??

It helps with AF bleeding as well so if you have really heaving bleeding it is a godsend. I'm going to be making my appointment with my GYN to have mine put in soon.
