I was told back when I was pregnant with Ella, that having babies makes your periods easier. For me it was the total opposite!
I had the worst PMS I've ever experienced and my periods were longer, heavier and much more painful than they were pre-baby.
I hope its not that way for you Amy!

I stopped Breastfeeding two weeks ago (I was only feeding once a day anyhow) and wondering when AF will be back? I am off to Uk in a couple of weeks time and hate it to come for the plane ride (oh I hate to think). How long did it takes you's to get yours back after BF?
I have had cramps all last saturday but nope nothing. I really thought it was coming.... Not that I really want it to...

Mine has been more crampy since being pg, I mostly put it down to being more aware of what's going on though.
Mine is due to come back about now (comes at about 3mos in my experience) and I've been almost freaked out that it'll come when I'm on crutches! Have been cramping a little bit over the last month, just slightly, but indicates to me that things are starting to move.

Since I have given birth to Olivia I have noticed that my periods are more regular and much lighter e.g pre baby: 40-70 random cycle with 5-7 days of heavy bleeding and post baby: approx 30 day cycle with 3-4 days of light bleeding spotting.
My first AF after Olivia was crampy, heavy and I was majorly stressed out.
Also my PMS has change dramatically I used to have major cravings for chocolate and not be bloated. Now I have no food cravings but I get quite anxious and bloated.
I think it is safe to say that it is different for everyone, I actually feel like being pregnant "righted" me somehow.
I didn't manage to breastfeed past 5 days as I had no breast milk either!

Mine have been extra heavy since having the gremlins but I haven't had worse PMS or cramps, in fact I am surprised about the craps part coz I used to get bad cramps. My doc told me the heaviness should settle down over time, at 6 weeks PP my uterus was still twice it's normal size so my body is still adjusting.

When i stopped feeding AF came back about 3 days later, but that was the only one, still waiting for it to resurface again.
Stupid thing, thats one good point of being preggers no monthly friends.
And worrying about getting preggers again with no regular cycle, esp since last time I got knocked up the first time we started trying...
