It looks like DD has very sensitive skin, possibly excema but will check with doc at 5 month check up next week.

I am looking for your recommendations on what brand to use for her washing. I would prefer a liquid detergent but guess I could use powder if thats what needed. Also a budget friendly option if possible!

TIA

my dd has sever eczema, we use ecostore and found it great, but have recently switched to soapnuts and they are really good too! I know ecostore can seem expensive, but since you use less than other detergents, it actually does work out cheaper

Ds hasn't got sensitive skin (yet) but I have and can't use liquid detergents on my clothes. Just thought I would mention that since you said you would prefer a liquid detergent.
I use persil sensitive which isn't cheap but we buy it in bulk which helps.

My son had sensitive skin as a littlie, and had excema on his scalp, and still does if we use the wrong detergent.
I use Amolin sensitive liquid, and its awesome - great on all clothes, and cloth nappies if you use them too.

Both my girls have eczema, although not severe. We use Ecostore and it doesn't seem to irritate.

I have sensitive skin and use ecostore and my skin is fine. I was using Persil Front-loader and flared up horribly, switched to Persil sensitive and it calmed down again then switched to Ecostore and haven't had any problems

For a super cheap option - make it yourself. Wendyl Nissen has a great recipe that is really easy to make. I changed to making my own when my son developed eczema for the same reasons. He no longer has the eczema, but I still make it cause it's soooo cheap!

DD also has sensitive skin and they advise liquid over powder for sensitive skin. We use Amolin Laundry Liquid - it's for sensitive skin and is relatively cheap compared to the others and she hasn't had a eczema flare up on it.

I second what cbirch said, I make my own from Wendyl Nissen's recipe. Easy to make and so cheap.

We use the Amolin liquid here too. DD has excema and we haven't had any issues since switching to this and it doesn't seem to have blown the budget at all :-)

On that note though I might investigate the home made one..sounds great too.
