Topic: Free Mug Posted: 30 June 2011 at 9:45am |
Who got an email from OhBaby for a free mug Vistaprint?
Mine said Congratulation you have been selected to receive a FREE MUG...but its not really free or is it.
When I go to checkout it says I have saved $31.49, but have to pay $1.49 when the email say a free mug worth $18.99...& this is not including shipping charge of $9-$22 depending on speed.
So is my mug free? ...hmm don't think so....

I got the free mug email... start off feeling special 'cause I was chosen, then see the postage charges and feel like I'm being treated 'spheshal'
If you want to do the 'free' mug thing and don't get the email, I'll happily forward you mine - just PM me

Yeah Vistaprint sends out many "free" offers, it's how they work.

Super spammy looking email. I opened and then just closed it again. TBH it will affect how I feel about opening emails from OhBaby in future.

HI Ladies
Yes we are SUPER embarassed to have sent it sorry!
We thought it was a good deal - we didn't realise there was so much 'added hidden costs' and we have complained to Vista print and told them - never again! I'm so so so super sorry.
If i had seen the ad I would not have approved it to go - it looked like spam and if I had seen the hidden costs I would have let them know!
Lesson learnt - really sorry and it won't happen again :)

The fine print on the email does actually state what's not included though, but I'd missed that.

I got the free mug email too, but there is always a catch to the word "free" on a random email

thanks Angie, when I first saw the email I thought my bad start to the day had got a lot better, then I spent ages getting the photo for the mug & doing it only to find out that nothing is for free lol...
I so recommend snapfish for mugs, don't mind paying the $ as you get the items quickly & the quality is always dependable

Oh man, I thought I was the only one who got the 'free mug that will cost you' email lol. Vistaprint are always sending me emails about 'great deals'. PITA. It's actually cheaper to get a mug printed locally at a camera store than to pay their postage lol
And thanks for letting us know Angela!
