I am on the pill but forgot to take it on day 13 (8 days ago) and had 'special cuddles' on that day. I have contined to take the pill, have 2 days left then I get my AF 2-3 days later. The thing is im feeling really nauseous (sp?) Could I be pregnant?? or maybe im just reading to much into it and it could be just a bug?

Would I still skip my AF if I did happen to be pregnant being still artifical because of the pill? Sorry I dont know much about this

Depending on which pill you are on, it takes 7-14 days for the pill to become effective again if missed even once. So if you continued to have "special cuddles" after missing it that one time, there is a good chance that you are pregnant. My SIL was sick at xmas and was throwing up, so of course her pill was coming up too. She is now 18 weeks pregnant. Sorry to freak you out. Good luck and be sure to let us know.

Well it's possible..

I didn't miss a day, but I was half a day late in taking a pill and that month I got pregnant.

But it could just be a bug as well. Just do a test in a few days to be sure!

I have also been extremely tired the last 2 days, nearly falling asleep on the couch at 9pm which is unlike me, I usally have the most energy at night (im not a morning person). So im starting to think maybe I am!? not that I would be worried about it, we were possibly going to start TTC after this month anyway.

That is true..

Sorry, I was jumping the gun and getting excited.

Good luck though for when it's not too early to test!

CAn't hurt to take a test, then you would know now if you are pregnant. If it is a neg then wait a few more days and do another one.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Remember if it is a bug and you dont want to get pregnant (I'm assuming that why your on the pill) that your pill can be less effective if you are throwing up or have the runs.

I get nauseous and very tired each month, to the extent that I convince myself I'm pregnant, despite there being no chance lol.. so you could very well just be getting your AF, the symptoms are pretty much the same

I was going to say the same thing as meow. My pre-menstrual symptoms are so similar to early pregnancy symptoms, and both times I was preggy the thing that tipped me off was really sore boobies.

I dont normally get nauseous or tired when i'm premenstrual. If I do get any premenstrual symptoms I dont get them until I have finished the 28days of pills (which I have 2 days to go) and even then I only get crampy tummy.

I was conceived even when my mum was on the pill lol.
She was showing neg results until 5months pregs, doc thought it oculdve been cause of her being on the pill causing the neg result in the test.
I noticed after having haleigh my pains changed from month to month esp when i was on the pill.
maybe test about when you are due for AF then if that neg and if AF doesnt arrive test again.

Good luck

If you're planning to start TTC anyway then I'd stop the pill from now, just in case you are pg then you don't want to be putting all that stuff into your body.

I was planning on not taking the last 2 days worth, and I will just have to wait and see what happens with AF.

So when would be the earliest I could test?? still in 4 days when AF would be due, or could I possibly get a positive result (if im preg) earlier if I stop taking the pill now?

Well you can get a positive test now but it's possible to be pg at this stage and the test will come up BFN still for another week. Generally you will get an accurate test in the week AF is due (go for in 5 days time )

Yea I know, I'm like that too! But then I tell myself, "if it's BFN you'll just convince yourself that you tested too early and really are pg" lol

But if you have a spare just in case....

there are two tests out (discovery, and cystral clear) and they both pick up from 4 days before af is due...they pick up from 15 instead of the 25-50 that the others pick up, but they arent sold in the supermarkets and not all chemist have them
