cant help as never had one...and i personally think that they can stop a child from learning. or doing their milestones in their own pace. have you thought about hiring one first tho, in case bub doesnt like it?

We had one for Bay and will be buying another one for Astin (person we leant Bays to never returned it!! ). I found it wonderful!! and Bay loved it to bits!! it never stopped him from learning or anything as he learnt to walk at 10.5 months!!. I prefered this over a walker as i have heard horid things about walkers!
We had the one with saucer base and swivel seat and i think it was evenflo brand (cant quite remember now!) but the ones they have out now have awsome toys on them
We bought ours off trademe but i think it orginally came from farmers.

I looooove our exersaucer!
We bought it for Benjy at Christmas, he was 4 months old and is still using it 5 months later. (Although he's almost walking now and usually prefers not being restrained!)
Ours is the Evenflo Classic. Its got a good selection of toys and room to stack some extra ones on when he wants a change.
We got ours on Trademe too.

Here it is

We have an evenflow we brought off TM for $80.00 It was in perfect state!

My son used it from 4 months till about 8 months (pleased we only paid 80) He hates to be confined and is happier playing around it.

I would be happy to lend it to you to try before you buy

Alize loves his exersaucer. I got mine of Trademe for $36 (it was in the listed in wrong section so noone was bidding against me). Its a classic evenflo one and was in excellent condition (looked brand new). I like it because you can add and remove toys. Great for Alize to be in while the girls are playing in their rooms as they take him in there and he feels like he is part of the action. Also great to put him in while Im eating dinner.

You can buy new toys to interchange/replace with the ones on your exersaucer too - might be a good option if you manage to get one off Trademe or for those children who get bored with one or two toys

i might look into the toy hire one and see if she likes it...we will buy new most likely anyways....

its been so long since i nannied and had kids in exersaucers that they seem to have changed so much - some seem to have too many toys on them...is that possible?

some of these photos have great looking ones in them...cant wait to go shopping now...gotta get DH past idea of her only using it for 6 months or so tho...LOL!!!

We hired an Evenflo from PLunket, the gremlins love it and I'm contemplating hiring a second one from the MBC. It's an older style one with fewer toys on it, but does the trick.
