day21 bloods

Some info:

Blood test - to check for the presence of progesterone. A level greater than 20nmol/L indicates that ovulation took place. This test must be taken about three to 10 days before the first day of the next expected period. Taken from here - about halfway down page..


I guess (?) that means you have ovulated????

lol missed the nurse....but apparently having that high level is excellent...so hopefully kents tests come back fine and now its just a case of timing

Have you done the day 2/3 test as well Kazzle? That ones important as well as it tests for FSH (not a no-brainer if your ovulation test is all good because quality is important too) and LH I think it is. Our specialist rolled his eyes when we turned up to see him and this test hadn't been done!

no i havent done the day 3 bloods...missed the deadline for those by 1 day....so am going to do them on the next cycle thats if im not pregnant now?

ive been doing a bit of research and the level my progesterone is at, is what it should be if you are are 12-20wks pregnant....i see my doctor tomorrow so hopefully he will have some answers

Just did the day 21 (or thereabouts) yesterday, so will keep in touch with the results. Ah, I wish the babydust would lay it on thick and just let us be preggers!
