Woah, I just had the most productive day I've had in aaaaaaages.

Must be that essay off my mind

I made two new vesty type things for Han... very crappily, but functional - I hope.

And I did some knitting. Must do some more while watching America's Next Top Model

Anyway, feeling good If only I could encourage Hannah to try on the vests. She ain't being so co-operative... turning her little nose up at home made clothes. At 2 years old!!

ETA - Oh yeah, and I made pikelets with Hannah for lunch (not very healthy, I know ) and had the best brainwave EVER. I wanted to make two batches as I knew Jute and Gaz would be hovering around the kitchen like flies... so I made them in seperate bowls so Hannah had one and I had one. Then I swapped when her mixing wasn't quite so effective! Worked brilliantly! I've always struggled with baking with Han as all I get is "My do it!" This way we didn't have fights over whose turn it was to stir

Fun day for you, another easy thing to make is chocolate crackles with kids, Andrew loved the stirring the dry ingredients together while the kremelta was melting.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I'm a learner sewer, and only have an overlocker, so please don't laugh at sewing

Oh yeah, and crap photos of kid, she wouldn't let me take them. And she won't wear the hippo vest (that's the one with yellow stuff - cut up an old jersey for the job!)

Honestly, look at the Tiny Happy blog and you'll skip your way to your sewing machine with a pile of old clothes ready to be re-created.

Interesting... Han is at that exact stage too. Every 5 minutes we hear "Hannah happy now, Hannah not sad. Not crying Mummy" Woo for you kid. But thanks for the support Jake - God knows she gets little to none round here
