Well my DP is now my DF!
This morning I was woken with a marriage proposal, and of course I said yes!
So yeah, thats our big news!
Now all we need is our bubs to make it complete!

Oh bumblefoot I am so pleased for you! How exciting! You might just have to join NZWP, the girls on there were so helpful when I was planning my wedding last year!

Thanks ladies, I am SOOOO excited!
I was half asleep, and thought I was dreaming! But not a dream...!
Im really glad I get to use my Grandmothers engagement ring, but it needs about $300 worth of repairs to the white gold claws that hold the diamonds in place. So Im wearing it but have been warned by the jeweller that Im seriously at risk of losing a stone. And its been valued at around $3000, so really cant afford to replace what is lost.
So, it looks like Im going to wear it for a few days, and then get a cheapie stand in until we can afford to have it repaired. sad
We're not sure where/when we are to be married, but the certainty is that Mum will be creating my dress, and a professional hairdresser friend of ours will be doing my hair, and her friend is a make up artist! So we're sweet there.
So much to plan! Looks like we will wait a year...

Well, what the hey, I love sharing!
He came in early this morning before work, and bent down and was giving me a good morning hug as I was waking up. He asked 'are you awake hun?' I moaned at him that there was no way I was getting up that early, as I had had a late night studying Uni. He said 'thats ok, but will you marry me?' I honestly thought I had dreamt it! I then woke up with a start and just stared at him! I said 'you're not taking the mick are you? Nows not the time for that, are you serious?' And he just replied 'yes Im serious, Im not kidding' So I just started yelling 'of course I will you idiot!' And thats pretty much how it goes!
I will take a pic if I can of my ring, it is a really unusual setting, and we have my grandmothers blessing to use it. I love it to pieces, and dont want to stop wearing it, but dont want to lose a stone either. It has three diamonds, and is set in white gold with a yellow gold band.
Pic to follow!

Damn, battery on camera is dead, give me time to charge and a pic will be up before you know it... If I can get one of the detail that is!
Bloody technology, I swear I would die without it, but sometimes I feel it plays up just to annoy me!
