Topic: Yay for me! Posted: 19 September 2005 at 10:27pm |
Well I did a test this afternoon and got a very very very faint positive! Still to be confirmed but how often do you get a false positive?? I would be only about 3-4 weeks pregnant so I would be due end of May or beginning of June I think?

wow congrats. Don't usually get false positive unless after a miscarriage or something I think. If you are going to do another one to confirm the best time to do it is first pee in the morning as your pee is more concentrated

Congratulations!!!
I think once you go and see your doc, they will do a blood test to confirm......But I have never heard of a false positive.

No such thing as a false positive. The hCG hormone turns the test positive, and can only be found in women who are pregnant. So congratulations!!!!!

Well I went to the doctors & he has me down for being due sometime between 26th - 31st May at this stage but definitely pregnant.....Already feeling that nausea coming on! OH YAY NOT. He said they is no way I could get a false positive unless I was taking medication with Hcg in it so yay for me
I am so excited. My fiancee is all smug & was like "Oh ok". Grinning like a cat that got the cream though!

I'm beginning to get really HUGE! Not baby tummy, but everywhere else is enlarging!! I'm quite amused by it all actually!! I have had to buy size 14 pants recently to wear to work, and all my lovely size 10's and 12's are sitting in the cupboard all lonely and missing me!! Jono is loving my new boobs though

good luck. lol.
i shrunk really fast after having PAris, but probably wasn't eating enough to sustain both myself and her. this time i snack throughout the day, and i don't think i have shrunk as fast.. still a few wobbly bits, but i fit my old clothes still.

I'm going to have to buy lots of new clothes when I shrink cos I wore my old clothes - esp tops - a bit long and they stretched! Good excuse isnt it!
