Topic: anyone feel the earthquake?? Posted: 15 June 2007 at 7:43am |
morning girls, did anybody feel the quake this morning at about 6.20-6.30? I was quietly feeding Jeremy when the old house started shaking, man do I HATE earthquakes. That is one thing I never missed when I lived in the UK.
Can't find any info on it so far excluding a large quake that hit Guatemala about the same time....surely it wouldn't be the same quake would it? If it was, it must have sure rocked Guatemala...mmmm, wonder if Doc Ropiter (sp) is OK

LMOA Charlotte Being in Auckland I obviously didn't, but a while back we had a pretty good shake and apparently it was centered in our area. Peoples houses were even damaged from it in our street, and I didn't feel a thing! Love my nice new, sturdy house :)

I felt something around that time, but we have little earthquakes all the time - once a week I go around the house and straighten up all the hanging pictures and mirrors!
