Around 1 years - depending on their height. Well this is what the lady at the shop advised me. We have one at the moment from the toy library.

Taine used his til he was old enough to try and climb out - so about 10 months - but he is a particulary nosey child who doesn't like to be restrained. Jake used his until he started walking. we found both boys stopped being as interested after they started craling BUT at the time, they were a godsend! i loved our exersaucers. i got the first one free! and the second was $50 from trademe - lovely condition.

Thanks guys I am just wondering if it was worth gettig one now as Rhyley is 7 months old. He loves to be on his feet and thought this would be a safe way for him to do that.
They just cost so much.

Asked at plunket here and they said that they don't endorse them so do not hire them (remember I live in a lil town) and no toy library.

We got a great one, brand new, from Winkalotts (online shop) - was heaps cheaper than in the shops.
Otherwise, TM has great 'deals' on them too

DH and I would never be able to eat dinner if it wasn't for our exersaucer! The age range is apparently to 24 months as you can adjust the height of it.. but I guess it depends on the temperament of your child as to how long they are happy to be in it.

see theres not going to be a next baby (80% sure anyhow)..
Found a place online that hires them for $10 per month so perhaps I might just hire one for a couple of months and see if he likes it...
