We got caught out the other night!
Through a crack in our bedroom door we heard a calm and collected 3 1/2 yo's voice say "Mummy, I can hear noises"

*scrabble for the sheet covering*

"Mummy I heard some noises, Bria's making noises"

*stifled giggles as we pale*

"She's saying 'mm mm mnnnn' Mummy, isn't she?"

*deep breath* "Oh she's stopped now Hannah, she's okay"

(Hannah is still outside the door, to our relief)

"Oh alright"

"She's fine Hannah, you go back to sleep, she's okay... oh and Daddy's been tickling me so you might hear me giggling"

*As Hannah goes back to bed we heave sighs of relief and collapse into giggles!*

That is so funny! I guess in a few years, we've got this to look forward to!

I have heard a few stories from my parents friends and when their children caught them and boy are those kids (that are now well into their 30's) are super embarrased when they are reminded about it!
