Topic: meds dispenser - its brilliant! Posted: 18 July 2007 at 5:00pm |
3 times a day I shovel various different meds into Ella, all of which are measured into a syringe, and come in bottles that no syringe will reach the bottom of, not that you'd want it to because they're all very sticky! So I use this magic little gem of a thingie...

like this...

and it is a godsend. It came in the box with a bottle of baby Pamol (chemist stuff, not prescription). I've been searching for more of these, because I really want some more so I'm not constantly washing it between measuring each different med, etc. Pfizer couldn't help me (would it have killed them to just say - 'we'll send you a couple then'), and I'm yet to find one at a chemist. Anyone know where I can get them? I'd love a few more.

Sorry about the huge pics - have re-sized 3 times but it ain't making a difference! Where else do you find them, Laura? I've only ever seen the one so far, and the chemists have all said 'huh - well, that's a good idea, wonder why we don't sell them'!

P.S It was the dude at The Radius pharmacy in the plaza who took the wee thingie out of the box and showed me what it was for. Maybe you could try there?

I'd ask a vet clinic (maybe the massey one?) .. I'm sure I've seen them before in the vet clinic I use to work at

I got a similar one in a chemist up here in Auck but it has a ribbed rubber cone attachment for going inside the Pamol bottle. If you don't have any luck I could get you one and post it to you (can't guarantee its as good as the one you have but does the job fine for us)
