Topic: Those doing WW... Posted: 30 July 2007 at 12:07pm |
...can you please tell me what edition your points books are? I'm just wondering if I need to upgrade mine or if I'd get away with using the ones I have from end of '05.
And does anyone know what the new deal is for this week yet? The first meeting free ended on Friday and I've read that there's a new deal this week but the website hasn't got it on there yet. I want to sign up but want to wait and see if it's free joining fee first!
Thanks

I use old points books. They are fine. I use them along with the little points calculator that you get week 4?. I'd say I use the calulator more than the books anyways.
Good luck! I hope you both get a good deal

Last time I never made it to week 4 two little blue lines told me that I was NOT going to be losing weight for at least 9 months!
Cool, I wouldn't think they'd change too much, the new ones probably have more products in them etc.
Yeah I'm going to be signing up tomorrow regardless too probably!

The new ones have more products and also sometimes the points value change but shouldn't be by enough to make a huge difference.

I haven't joined WW properly but am using a combination of my Dad's old WW stuff from the UK and some books I've borrowed & bought on TM all various versions and I lost 3.5kg in my 1st week and 1.5kg in my 2nd (then had a birthday and probably put it all on again ) but it goes to show that you can still do WW without spending heaps of $$$s
Good luck Kirst

Toni, that's awesome!! Yeah I don't like the thought of spending too much, but in my own mind, I like having someone to report my weight to (that someone not being a friend or husband who can easily sway me!). That, and the fact that I feel guilty paying a weekly meeting fee if I gain! I just need a kick in the right direction as well hehe

I've got the '05 books, lost 30kg with them before I got pregnant with the gremlins and put it all back on again
When I get back from my holiday I'm going to kick my butt back into it big time!

Hey there,
When I joined up in 05 I used a voucher on a packet of ww museli bars. Do they still put vochers on the packets? Probably not or someone might have said. Also they might have a deal at the buggy walk on Thursday since they are one of the sponsors.

I was just coming to say that its free registration I just turned up and got it. So instead of paying registration I got the $30 starter pack.
