Yayyyy Finally reached week 36... i can gradually feel my little boy going down, i feel like if i push his bum he will fall out lol....

has anyone started dropping yet? this is my first baby.
I think i am but still finding it hard to breathe. anyone experienced different things this week? also i've been noticing this week he has hardly moved... which is weird coz over the past few weeks he was kicking non-stop for hours. ---hmmmm very strange

love to hear from yas

Angela

The last month with my #1 boy he slowed his kicking down heaps - to the piont where I thought 'is he ok?' He was a very much ok - thank god :-). My #2 daughter never stopped kicking and even when coming out (which she only took 2 pushes 5 mins) she was kicking - never stopped since. #3 son as he was breeched he stopped kicking too towards the end.

But after all that mouth full - Yay only a month to go

Ooo  not long to go now Angela. I think towards the end the bubs kick less as they are saving all the energy for the birth and there isnt an awful lot of space left for them to move around in. Best of luck for the big day

Oh and welcome to OB!

congrats Angela, it won't be long now until you can hold your little one. The movements do settle towards the end - for me it was in the last week - but if you are ever concerned, just call your mw and get her to check the heartbeat for you. & welcome to OB!

if you want to get baby to kick you (or wake up) drink a glass of iced water and relax either in bed or on couch, should get bubs kicking in no time. This is what my midwife told me to do when Rhyley hadn't kicked for a while... then he made up for lost time

Never had a water birth but never really got the chance to either.
