Topic: New lease of life Posted: 22 September 2007 at 9:17pm |
My girls have been slimming out (that's a good thing, I breed fatty babies hehe) and I've been crossing over the snaps on our fuzzibunz for a little while. Kryssi wears the mediums on a tight setting and it still looks bulky! So I have pulled out her old smalls and she fits them again! So we have a new lease of life with her smalls and Briona bumped down from petites into mediums (they fit her better for day use), and that allows Hannah to use the petites at night (cause she's now too slim for larges). New lease of life - fantastic! Especially cause I have more smalls and meds than meds and petites. So instead of just 15 nappies between Briona and Kryssi, I now have 18 + petites as a backup.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

That's awesome. I don't think I'll ever be able to do that with Daniels small fuzzi ( but I only have a couple now anyway) because he's on the smallest setting for the tummy but on the biggest setting for the legs. He's got massive thighs like his mumma lol

Stacey that's exactly how Kryssi was at that age, we went into meds cause she couldn't fit the thighs. The waist was still ok. Still is now too lol, up to 3 snaps showing at the tummy.

Thats really great Teresa. You're sure getting your $$ worth out of them. last couple of days I've noticed that Andy has slimmed down in the waist heaps. Can now cross over the waist snpas on his med FB. I hope he doens't loose any more as we don't have any smalls!!

So would those smalls be on 4th time use now? If so, what condition is the fleece in? still good for another round with a newborn?
Certainly proves why you should always keep your MCNs handy

Sounds ideal Toni but actually Kryssi was the first bubba of mine to wear small FB. I didn't know MCN existed until Briona turned 1 So my meds are the oldest ones I have, been washed almost every day for the last year and the fleece still has wear. The elastic isn't as tight as my new mediums but I reckon I'll get another year out of them yet
