hi all, I read somewhere (and can't remember where to re-read it again) that says that you shouldn't wash mcn's with other natural fibres like cotton etc...is this true?

Mine get washed with all our clothes and Daniels clothes (which are mostly cotton) and I've never had a problem

I never followed that rule. Always washed in with other clothes. Didn't seem to do a whole lot to my naps... but then I don't know.

I don't follow any set rules either but could it be because of pilling on the m/fleece? I know when I wash the hemp fleece inserts in with the nappies all my dark m/fleece is covered in little bits.

I can't wash Sam's little flannel wipes because of the microfleece pilling, but other than that most other fabrics seem to be fine.

I've always washed my nappies with my white load of washing (hot wash) and the fleece has never pilled
